1. Scope and Application
These Terms & Conditions govern registration for and participation in AORTIC LIVE London 2026 (the “Event”), whether attended in person or virtually via LIVE Symposia TV.
AORTIC LIVE London 2026 is organised by Scholars Clinical Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 15920960 with registered office at 8 Southfields Drive, Timperley, Altrincham, WA15 6DR, UK (the “Organiser”). Contact: [email protected]
The Event is an international educational symposium taking place on 11–12 September 2026 at The View, Royal College of Surgeons of England, London, United Kingdom, with virtual participation available via LIVE Symposia TV.
The Organiser may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in force at the time of registration will apply to that registration.
2. Registration and Payment
Registration categories, fees and any available discounts or special rates are set out on the Event registration page or may be communicated by the Organiser.
All registration fees are displayed in pounds sterling.
The Organiser reserves the right to amend registration categories, pricing and available discounts at any time before registration is confirmed.
Certain registration categories may require verification of status. The Organiser reserves the right to request supporting documentation and to refuse, amend or cancel a registration where suitable evidence is not provided.
Payment must be made online at the time of registration unless otherwise agreed by the Organiser in writing.
Registration is confirmed only once the Organiser has received completed registration details, any required supporting documentation and payment of the registration fee.
Delegates are responsible for ensuring that their registration details remain accurate and up to date. Delegate participation instructions, LIVE Symposia TV access details and Event communications will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
A third party registering on behalf of one or more delegates confirms that they are authorised to act for those delegates and to accept these Terms & Conditions and applicable privacy information on their behalf. The third party is responsible for ensuring that all registration information is accurate and complete and for any issue arising from inaccurate or incomplete information or lack of authority to act on behalf of the delegate.
3. Cancellation, Refunds and Transfers
Cancellation, refund and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
Refunds will only be made to the original payment method.
The Organiser will communicate material changes to delegates using the email address provided during registration.
3.1 Cancellation by Delegate
Virtual registrations can be cancelled until 14 August 2026, subject to a £20 administration fee. After this date, virtual registration fees are non-refundable.
In-person registrations can be cancelled until 14 August 2026, subject to a £50 administration fee. From 15 August 2026, they are non-refundable but will continue to include access to LIVE Symposia TV and available post-event content for up to six months after the Event.
3.2 Transfers
A delegate can request to transfer registration to another eligible person by emailing the Organiser. Transfers are subject to approval and any required verification of the replacement delegate’s registration category.
Transfers are free until 14 August 2026, after which they will incur a £20 administration fee.
3.3 Changes by the Organiser
The Organiser will use reasonable efforts to deliver the Event as advertised.
If the Organiser determines that the Event cannot reasonably or safely proceed as planned, the Organiser can reschedule the Event, cancel the Event, convert the Event to virtual delivery or otherwise modify the Event format.
If the Event is rescheduled, registrations will automatically transfer to the revised Event dates. If a delegate is unable to attend the revised dates, they can request a full refund of the registration fee paid or transfer their registration to another eligible delegate, subject to any instructions and deadlines communicated by the Organiser.
If the in-person Event is converted to virtual delivery only, in-person registrations will automatically be converted to virtual registrations. Delegates are entitled to a refund of the difference between the in-person registration fee paid and the applicable virtual registration fee.
If the Event is cancelled by the Organiser, delegates are entitled to a full refund of the registration fee paid.
Where the Organiser provides a full or partial refund of the registration fee, that refund will represent the full extent of the Organiser’s liability in relation to the cancellation, rescheduling or conversion of the Event. The Organiser will not be responsible for any consequential losses or other costs incurred by delegates, including travel, accommodation, visa or insurance costs.
4. Certificates of Attendance
Certificates of Attendance will be issued to delegates whose attendance has been recorded and who complete the required post-Event survey. Certificates will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
5. Force Majeure
The Organiser will not be liable for any delay, disruption, cancellation or failure to deliver the Event caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, industrial action, acts of government or regulatory authorities, public health emergencies or restrictions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, utility, venue or technology failure, supplier or faculty unavailability, clinical, hospital, regulatory or patient-safety reasons affecting live case transmission.
In such circumstances, the Organiser can postpone, reschedule, convert the Event to virtual delivery or provide alternative access to Event content where reasonably possible.
6. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful.
The Organiser will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from Force Majeure.
The Organiser will not be liable for any damages, claims or losses arising from the materials, products, services, statements or actions of sponsors, exhibitors, industry partners or service providers acting on their behalf.
Delegates are responsible for their personal belongings. The Organiser will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to personal property at the Event.
7. Attending the Event
By attending the Event, delegates agree to comply with all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies that may be in place.
Attendance: In-person delegates must check in on arrival and wear their delegate badge during the Event. Check-in will be used for attendance records and accreditation purposes. Virtual delegates must use their registered login details to access LIVE Symposia TV to ensure access and attendance are recorded correctly.
Virtual Access: Virtual access and LIVE Symposia TV login details are personal to the registered delegate and must not be shared or used by unauthorised persons.
Delegate Conduct: The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to, or remove from the Event, any person whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate or likely to interfere with the Event or the experience of other delegates. No refund will be given where admission is refused or access is removed for this reason.
Photography & Filming: The Event will be photographed, filmed, livestreamed and recorded. By attending the Event, delegates acknowledge that they may appear in Event photography, filming or recordings used for educational, promotional, reporting or archival purposes. Delegates who do not wish to be photographed or filmed should notify the Organiser before the Event or speak to Event staff on site.
Delegate Recording: Delegates must not record, film, photograph, livestream, screenshot or otherwise capture Event content, presentations, live cases, displays or exhibition materials without the Organiser’s prior written permission.
Programme Changes: The Organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the Event programme, speakers, faculty, live cases, timings or format where necessary. This may be required for operational, educational, clinical or patient-safety reasons and will not in itself entitle delegates to a refund.
Educational Purpose: Event content is provided for professional education and scientific exchange only.
Speakers’ Views: Views, opinions and presentations delivered by speakers or faculty are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Organiser.
Industry Participation: Sponsor, exhibitor or industry partner participation does not imply endorsement or recommendation by the Organiser.

9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
